Got overripe bananas languishing in your fruit basket? Utilize them by turning them into moist banana bread with these simple steps.
3 bananas 1½ cup AP flour ⅓ cup salted butter ½ cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp baking soda
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. In a mixing bowl, add the peeled overripe bananas and mash them with a fork.
Once mashed smooth, add the melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk till incorporated.
Add the dry ingredients in flour, sugar, and baking soda and fold them in with the wet ingredients.
Add the banana bread batter to a greased loaf pan and bake for an hour or, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out crumb-free.
