Churros are fried dough sticks that are covered in cinnamon sugar and served with a special sauce. Here's how to make churros at home.
To make churros you'll need, a cup of water, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, a cup of AP flour, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, an egg, and vegetable oil, for frying.
Add water, butter, sugar, and salt to a large saucepan, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Add flour, reduce heat to medium-low and cook constantly with a spatula until the mixture resembles a choux pastry.
