Step To Make Winter Special Bengali Puli Pitha

Puli pitha in doodh is one of the most loved winter dishes in the Bengali cuisine. Let us look at a simple recipe for it.

Step 1

Add jaggery to desiccated coconut and cook it for 7-8 mins. Keep it aside to cool.

Step 2

Make a soft dough with rice flour and lukewarm water. Make small puris with it and stuff with coconut filling.

Step 3

In a pan, heat up full cream milk and boil till it becomes creamy. Add the prepared puli to it.

Step 4

Reduce he milk to half and add some cardamom powder to it.

Step 5

Turn off the gas and add jaggery or nolen gur to the milk. Mix it well and serve hot.
