Neer dosa is the a snack you can make in no time and is served with spiced chutneys. Unlike traditional dosa, you don’t have to spend hours soaking the ingredients and fermenting the batter. Here is a quick recipe to try out.
2 chopped onions (optional) ½ cup coconut 1/2 cup rice 4 tablespoons coriander leaves ½ cup semolina 1 cup curd 2 cups water Salt to taste
Blend rice and coconut in a food processor. Make sure you have a powder-like consistency.
In another bowl, mix curd and semolina. Add coconut and rice powder to it.
Gradually add water and salt to taste. Mix to make a runny concoction free from lumps.
Add coriander leaves and onions. Keep the batter aside for 15 minutes.
Heat a tawa and pour the batter on it. Since it is runny, it will take some time to cook.
Once the base is crispy, fold the dosa, and serve it with coconut, tomato, or mint chutney.
