Ghee murukku is a delicious snack that would elevate your festive spread. It is crispy and perfect to pair with tea or coffee. This recipe is a short guide to making this delight at home.
3 tbsp besan 2 cups rice flour 2 tbsp fried gram flour 2 tbsp ghee Water as needed Salt to taste ¾ tsp cumin Ghee for frying A pinch of asafoetida
Roast besan in a pan until it releases aroma.
Combine it with rice flour, fried gram flour, salt, hing, ghee, and cumin powder.
Add water to knead this mixture into a soft dough.
Push this dough inside the murukku machine.
Shape this dough in concentric circles and deep-fry them in ghee.
Once murukkus are crispy, store them in an airtight container and enjoy.
