Instead of buying namkeen from stores which might even contain preservatives, you can follow desi recipes. This poha namkeen has many variants across India as it is healthy and easy to make. Follow this guide.

Ingredients

⅓ cup peanuts, cashews 2 tbsp golden raisins 2 cup poha Oil as needed ¼ cup chopped dry coconut ½ tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp sugar 14-15 curry leaves 2 green chillies Salt to taste A pinch of hing

Step 1

First, roast the peanuts and cashews and keep them aside.

Step 2

Now roast poha on a low flame to prevent it from burning.

Step 3

Dry roast coconut and raisins too. Keep them aside to cool off.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan and saute green chillies, red chillies, hing, curry leaves, and turmeric powder.

Step 5

Toss everything together in a large bowl along with salt to taste and red chilli powder.

Step 6

Store the namkeen in an airtight jar and enjoy with tea or coffee.
