Ingredients

1 cup soybean Water to soak soybean

Step 1

Start by soaking soybean in water overnight or at least for 6 to 8 hours.

Step 2

When done, discard the water and wash them properly. You will see that one cup has increased to 3 cups.

Step 3

In a blender, add 1 1/2 cup-soaked soybeans with 2 cups water. Repeat with the remaining soybeans too.

Step 4

Sieve this mixture through a muslin cloth into a big bowl.

Step 5

Heat a pan on medium flame and transfer the soy milk. Let it come to a boil.

Step 7

Add 2 tbsp water mixed with 2 tbsp lemon juice in the milk and let it curdle. Switch off the flame.

Step 8

Layer a muslin cloth over a strainer and transfer the milk. Wrap the cloth tightly and keep a heavy object over it.

Step 9

Remove the tofu from muslin cloth and cut it into pieces. Store it in referigerator and enjoy!
