If you experience hunger after 4pm, you know what it does to your mood. If you work in an office, you can’t help but go around asking your friends to accompany you for a tea break. But if you are at home, make veg steamed momo.
½ tsp oil Water as needed ½ tsp pepper 1 cup maida 1 tbsp oil ¼ tsp salt ½ cup chopped French beans ½ cup chopped cabbage ½ cup chopped carrots 1 tsp soy sauce ½ cup spring onions ½ tsp pepper
Take maida in a deep vessel, add a teaspoon of oil and salt to it. Knead it into a soft dough and let it rest.
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and roast cabbage, garlic, spring onions, French beans, and carrots on a high flame.
Add soy sauce, salt to taste, and grated ginger (optional) to the mix. Once veggies are done, let them cool off.
Divide the dough into small balls, roll them into discs, stuff vegetables, and shape it into momo.
Grease a steamer and place momo in it once the water comes to a boil.
After steaming for 15 minutes, momo will be done. Enjoy them with spicy red chutney.
