Stay Healthy With This Easy Mix Dal Soup Recipe

Mix dal soup is a wholesome, protein-packed dish perfect for a light meal. It combines the goodness of various lentils, making it nutritious, comforting, and flavourful, ideal for chilly days. 

Ingredients

¼ cup each of moong dal, masoor dal, and toor dal 1 onion, chopped 1 tomato, chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp ghee Salt to taste Fresh coriander for garnish 

Step 1

Rinse the lentils well and pressure cook with turmeric, salt, and water for 2-3 whistles. 

Step 2

In a separate pan, heat ghee, add cumin seeds, and sauté onions until golden. 

Step 3

Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Add the cooked dal to the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes. 

Step 4

Garnish with coriander and serve warm.
