Start Your Day With Some Gobhi Parantha

A North Indian or punjabi cuisine, made with spiced grated cauliflower. The bread is made with whole wheat flour dough and filled with a spicy mixture of grated gobi.

Ingredients

For stuffing: 2 tsp oil1 tsp ginger, 2 cup gobi, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, ½ tsp aamchur powder, 2 tsp coriander, 1 cup wheat flour, 1 tsp oil or ghee, water as required for kneading, ¼ cup wheat flour for dusting, ghee or oil as required

Step 1

Start with making the gobi stuffing. Heat oil and saute ginger now add grated cauliflower and saute for 5 minutes. Now add all spices and salt. saute well.Now , add coriander leaves and keep aside.

Step 2

Take a dough and make medium sized ball, roll it out place the stuffing in the centre. Take the edge and start pleating bringing to center,sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.

Step 3

Now heat a tava and place the rolled paratha and cook both sides until golden brown and crisp.

Step 4

Serve these hot gobi parathas with sauce, raita or pickle as desired.
