If your fridge is loaded with peas, you better make some peasy breakfast dishes with it. Be it your sandwich or paratha, peas can be squeezed everywhere.
The popular Gujarati snack gets a greenish touch with the addition of matar aka peas to the batter. Steam it and temper it with mustard seeds and green chillies.
Toss the peas in a combination of spices like red chilli powder, turmeric powder and chaat masala. Spread on a slice of bread and top it with another.
Substitute the potatoes or onions with peas in this stuffed Indian flatbread because it is all that matters. Mash the peas, roll the paratha and make it crisp.
While many veggies can be added to a poha, peas can add a tinge of sweetness to the popular Maharashtrian breakfast dish. Mix well and garnish with sev.
Mash the peas and shape them into small roundels with the palm. Fry them in a pan until they turn golden-brown and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
