Spinach Soup: Healthy Addition To Your Winter Diet

Winters with soup become warm and comforting. While tomato and vegetable soups are the popular choices, spinach stew is an underrated gem. If you have been looking for its recipe, here it is.

Ingredients

¼ cup onion 1 bay leaf 2 cups palak 2 cups water ¼ tsp garlic, and pepper 2-3 tbsp coconut cream 1.5 tbsp olive oil ½ tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp gram flour Salt to taste

Step 1

Thoroughly wash the spinach and chop the leaves. 

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and saute the bay leaf.

Step 3

Saute onion, garlic, pepper, and spinach.

Step 4

Add besan and roast it with other ingredients.

Step 5

Pour water or vegetable stock and cumin powder.

Step 6

Hand blend the ingredients, simmer them, and top them with olive oil and coconut cream.
