The popular Indian delicacy known as mirchi bhajji, commonly referred to as filled chilli fritters, is crispy, spicy, and mouthwatering.
10-12 green chili peppers 2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp red chili powder Salt to taste 1 cup chickpea flour (besan) Water as needed Oil for frying
Take green chili peppers and slit lengthwise and remove the seeds. Keep them aside.
Take bowl and add mashed potatoes, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt to taste.
Stuff the green chili peppers with the potato filling and keep them aside. In a bowl, add chickpea flour, salt to taste.
Now add water as needed to make a smooth batter. In a pan Heat oil.
Dip each stuffed chili pepper into the batter, making sure it is fully coated. Now Gently fry the pepper until crispy.
Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
Serve hot with your favorite chutney or ketchup. Enjoy!
