Chilli paneer is a popular Indo-Chinese dish that is made with fried paneer cubes and a spicy sauce. Served with rice or noodles!
Cubes of 200 grams paneer 1 onion, chopped 1 bell pepper/capsicum, chopped 2-3 green chilies, sliced 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup 1 teaspoon chili sauce 1 teaspoon vinegar Salt to taste Oil for frying and cooking Cornflour, as required Spring onion greens, chopped for garnishing
Take paneer cubes and dust them with cornflour. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the paneer cubes until golden brown.
Now add some more oil and sauté the onion, bell pepper, and green chilies and ginger-garlic paste sauté for a few minutes.
Now Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, and salt. Mix well. Add the fried paneer cubes and mix gently.
Add some water to adjust the consistency of the sauce and let it cook for a few minutes.
Now Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot. Your restaurant-style chili paneer is ready!
