Keema is among the most-loved delights for non-vegetarians. But what about vegans and vegetarians? They can try the soya keema recipe. It can be paired with parathas or layered in a bun.
2 cups soya chunks ½ tbsp Green chilli, chopped 2 tbsp oil ¼ cup green peas, fresh cream 3 pcs pav (bread rolls) 1 tsp cumin, salt 1-inch cinnamon 2 tbsp Butter 1 piece mace 5-6 pcs cloves, pepper 2 pcs bay leaf
2 tsp coriander powder, butter 1 cup chopped onion, tomato 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste 1 tsp red chilli, turmeric 4 pcs green cardamom ½ tsp garam masala Water, as required ½ cup Curd 1 tbsp kasoori methi, coriander 2 tsp Butter
Soak soya chunks in water for 15 minutes and grind them to mimic minced meat.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and whole spices to it. Saute chopped onions until they are golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste, spices, and chopped tomatoes. Once tomatoes are mushy, add fresh peas.
As the spices release oil, add minced soya chunks.
Top soya keema with kasuri methi, garam masala, coriander leaves, fresh cream, and a dollop of butter.
Serve soya keema with toasted pavs.
