Banana fritters are popular snacks across South India. They are enjoyed in the evening with tea or coffee. The spiced and sweet deep-fried recipe is an ideal addition to the high-tea menu if you are hosting one.
½ cup besan 2 bananas Salt to taste ¼ tsp turmeric powder 2 tbsp rice flour Oil for frying ½ tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp red chilli powder A pinch of salt Water as needed
Add salt, cardamom powder, turmeric, besan, and rice flour in a bowl.
Pour water into the bowl to prepare the slurry.
Dip bananas into the slurry and add them into the hot oil.
Deep-fry until the fritters are crispy.
Serve the banana fritters with chutney of your choice and coffee.
