Enjoy a delicious and fulfilling lunch with South Indian set dosa. These soft and fluffy rice and lentil pancakes, served in a set, are perfect with coconut chutney and sambar.
2 cups dosa rice 1/2 cup urad dal (split black gram) 1/2 cup poha (flattened rice) 1/4 cup cooked rice 1 tsp fenugreek seeds Salt to taste Oil or ghee for cooking
In a bowl Soak rice, dal, and fenugreek seeds for 6 hours or overnight. Grind soaked ingredients with poha and cooked rice.
Add salt and to make a smooth batter. Ferment the batter for 8-10 hours. Now heat a pan.
Grease it with oil and pour batter, and cook dosas on both sides, until golden brown.
Serve the set dosa hot with coconut chutney, sambar, or any other accompaniment of your choice.
