When you have leftover idli-dosa batter, you can turn it into delights without much effort. This paniyaram recipe is simple and can be prepared in no time. You can enjoy these as snacks or a quick but nutritious breakfast.
1 tsp chopped green chillies 2 cups idli batter A pinch of hing ⅓ cup chopped onion ½ tsp crushed pepper 1 tsp chopped ginger ⅓ grated coconut Oil as needed Salt as needed 2 tbsp chopped curry leaves ¼ tsp red chilli powder
Add all the chopped vegetables and powdered spices to the leftover idli-dosa batter.
Combine the ingredients and keep them aside for at least 5 minutes.
Heat a paniyaram pan and add ghee in moulds.
Pout a tablespoon of the batter into the moulds and cook.
Once the base is cooked, flip over paniyarams.
When both sides are cooked, serve with chutneys, and enjoy.
