In the world of Indian cuisines, dosa reigns supreme as a versatile and beloved dish. Among its several variations, the Moong dal dosa stands out for its lightness, simplicity and wholesome goodness. It is packed with nutrients and flavour and take a look at how it can be made at home
1 cup split moong dal (yellow lentils) ½ cup rice flour 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped green chili 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Soak the moong dal in water for 4-5 hours or overnight. Drain the water and grind the soaked dal into a smooth batter.
Add rice flour, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt to the batter. Mix well to form a smooth consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour a ladleful of batter onto the batter and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin layer.
Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crisp.
Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar for a delicious meal or snack.
