South Indian Menu For Your Diwali Dinner

By Risha Ganguly

For Diwali this year, why don't you try something unique and host a Diwali party with a South Indian menu? Here is what you can add to the menu!

Paanagam

For the drink, go traditional and serve this refreshing drink made of jaggery, ginger and lemon.

Tawa Idly Fry

Ditch the regular idli for some spicy, tava fried idli. It can be the perfect starter.

Rasam and Upma

There is no better combination than some spicy tomato rasam and flavourful upma, with curry leaves.

Masala Dosa

Going unconventional does not mean ditching the crowd pleaser masala dosa. The plate will remain incomplete without it.

Paal Payasam

For the dessert, go the traditional way and make the South Indian version of kheer - the glorious pal payasam.
