Dal dosa is a protein-rich South Indian dish that can be enjoyed as a quick breakfast or as an elaborate meal once paired with sambar and chutney. Here’s how you can make dal dosa at home.
1 cup urad dal 1/2 cup chana dal 1 cup rice 1/4 cup grated coconut 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 1 tablespoon chopped green chillies Salt to taste Water as required
Rinse and soak urad dal and chana dal overnight.
Add water to the soaked dal. Mix in grated coconut, ginger, and green chillies.
Blend all the ingredients till smooth. Let it ferment for a few hours.
Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter, and spread it into a circle.
Cook on both sides till crisp. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
