Punugulu are deep-fried fritters made from fermented rice and urad dal batter, a popular snack from Andhra Pradesh.

In a mixing bowl, combine dosa batter, chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until it is hot enough for frying.
Using a spoon or your fingers, drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil, forming round small pakoras.
Fry the Punugulu in batches until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried Punugulu and drain them on a napkin. Serve hot with coconut chutney or any spicy dip. Enjoy!
