If you're looking for a raw papaya salad with brilliant flavours and a crisp crunch, then must try Som Tam, a Thai dish. As a beautiful example of Thai cuisine, Som Tam strikes the ideal balance between sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavours.
250grams of shredded green papaya ½ carrot, juillened 5 cloves of garlic 2 Thai chilis ½ tomato or 5 cherry tomatoes, halved ¼ cup roasted peanuts Juice of one lime 1.5 tbsp Fish sauce 1.5 tbsp Palm sugar
Gather ingredients: green papaya, tomatoes, carrots, peanuts, and Thai chili peppers. Shred papaya and vegetables into thin strips.
Crush peanuts and slice chili peppers. Mix ingredients together in a bowl.
Dress with a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, and garlic. Enjoy your refreshing and flavourful Som Tam salad!
