As the king of fruits take over the summers, raw mangoes are typically enjoyed in the form of pickles or as a snack. However, the aam panna – which is known to possess various health benefits and cool the body, is the drink that you need to enjoy this summer.
2 medium-sized raw mangoes ½ cup sugar 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder ½ teaspoon black salt ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon black pepper powder Fresh mint leaves, for garnish Ice cubes Water, as needed
Pressure cook the mangoes whole for 3-4 whistles, until soft before peeling them.
Squeeze the pulp into a blender along with all the ingredients except the water and ice.
Blend into a smooth paste-like mixture and transfer to a bottle, topping it with water.
Refrigerate for a few hours and enjoy poured over ice cubes.
