Loaded with the flavours of fenugreek leaves and fish, this Sindhi fish curry is a delight for the taste buds and nutritious too. Cook it up with this easy recipe, pair it with rice and enjoy a relaxed meal.

300g fish fillet 2 cups fenugreek leaves 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, crushed 1 cup onion, chopped 3 green chillies, slit 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste ½ cup yoghurt 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp coriander powder Salt, to taste 2 tsp lemon juice 4 tbsp mustard oil

Wash and clean the fish, marinate with salt and set aside for half an hour.

Heat oil in a wok and fry the fish pieces until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the remaining oil, add fenugreek seeds, onions, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt and saute until brown.

Add the remaining spices, yoghurt and fenugreek leaves. Cook until the oil starts to separate.

Add the fish pieces and adjust the salt. Cook for 10 minutes, add lemon juice and serve hot with rotis or rice.
