Simple And Easy Makhana Panchamrut

Traditionally used for Hindu poojas and religious rites, panchamrut (also known as Charnamrut or Panchamrit) is an ayurvedic mixture. It is made with five ingredients (Paanch Amrut), and it is regarded as holy.

Ingredients

Half liter cow milk 200 grams yogurt 3 tablespoons honey Tulsi leaves 1 teaspoon ghee 1 cup foxnuts (makhana) 1 teaspoon chironji 1 tablespoon chopped almonds 1 tablespoon chopped cashew nut 1 tablespoon shredded dry coconut 1 tablespoon chopped raisins

Step 1

In a clean silver or brass bowl add fox nuts and chop them into small pieces.

Step 2

Wash dry fruits, Tulsii leaves and Grate coconut. Mix all and keep it aside.

Step 3

Now add milk (unboiled) and curd into the bowl, blend them well with nice consistency.

Step 4

Now add all the ingredients into the milk-curd mixture. Mix it super well to avoid lumps.

Step 5

Refrigerate the panchamrut, add desired amount of honey. Top it with Tulsi leaves.
