Shikanji: A Refreshing Drink To Beat The Summer Heat

This Indian variant of lemonade is a well-known home remedy for acid reflux and dehydration. Make it at home with this simple recipe.

Ingredients

2 lemons juice 1/4 teaspoon kala namak 1/8 teaspoon chaat masala 1/8 teaspoon salt to taste 2-3 tablespoons sugar 500 ml cold water mint leaves to garnish

Step 1

Take a large pitcher and squeeze fresh lemon juice into it.

Step 2

Add in sugar, both the salt and chaat masala along with chilled water.

Step 3

Stir for few minutes until well combined.

Step 4

Serve shikanji with fresh mint leaves and lemon wedge. Enjoy.
