Shaved Ice Palomas: A Frozen Summer Treat For Everyone

These tequila-infused, frozen palomas are super simple to make and only need plenty of resting time before you can enjoy them. Make this ahead of time so you can cool off, on a warm evening.

INGREDIENTS

60 ml grapefruit juice 2 tablespoons simple syrup 2 tablespoons lime juice 60 ml tequila 1 cup club soda

METHOD

Combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup and freeze it in ice moulds or a large, deep dish.

Once frozen, use a fork to scrape bits of ice from the deep dish or simply blend the contents of the moulds in a food processor.

Pour the frozen slush into a glass and add the tequila.

Top up with club soda and serve.
