The chilly winter season is the perfect time to make the most of sweet potatoes, aka shakarkandi. The vegetable can be roasted or even air-fried to make a delicious shakarkandi chaat.
2 sweet potatoes 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon chaat masala
Boil the sweet potatoes, drain, peel, and chop them.
Heat some oil and mix shakarkandi with lemon juice and all the spices.
Roast the cubes till fragrant and coat the pieces with the masala.
Transfer to a plate and serve with imli chutney and pomegranate seeds.
