Shahi Tukda: Make This Royal Dessert At Home

Ingredients

6 bread slices 4 cups milk Ghee for deep-frying 1/2 cup dry fruits 1/2 cup sugar Silver varq to garnish

Step 1

Start by trimming the crust. Then, cut each bread slice into round shape.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a pan and shallow-fry the bread slices, just for a minute. When done, drain on absorbent paper.

Step 3

Heat milk in a pan and simmer it for 10 minutes. Keep stirring continuously. Add sugar and continue to simmer.

Step 4

Place the bread slices on a serving dish and pour chilled reduced milk.

Step 5

Garnish with silver varq and dry fruits. Serve chilled and enjoy!
