Settle With These Easy Electric Kettle Recipes

By Jasmine Kaur

If you’re a hosteller or a PG resident, you must know the benefits and uses of an electric kettle. Apart from maggi, you can make poha, hot chocolate and much more.

Masala Corn

For those lazy winter evenings when you’re craving something hot, boil the sweet corn kernels in the kettle and toss with spices and lime juice.

Hot Chocolate

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, then this hot chocolate hack is for you. Add cocoa powder, water, milk, chocolate and sugar in a kettle and bring to a boil.

Boiled Eggs

The easiest way to satiate the morning hunger is by boiling eggs in a kettle. Peel them, sprinkle some salt and pepper and dice them to make an egg chaat.

Veggie Soup

Get all the seasonal veggies like carrots, peas, tomatoes, onions and more. Boil them in water and mash them. Stir continuously and once it gets thinner, season with black pepper.

Poha

Soak the poha overnight and drain out all the water. Then add all the chopped veggies and poha to the kettle and let it cook for a few minutes.
