Sawan-Special Malpua That Is Perfect For Your Sweet Tooth

Sawan, or the monsoon season, calls for some warm desserts. One of the traditional desserts made during the month is malpua. Why don’t you follow this easy recipe and make it at home?

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup sooji 3/4 cup milk 3/4 cup sugar Cardamom powder - a pinch Oil for frying

Step 1

Mix atta, sooji, sugar, cardamom powder, and milk for a consistent batter. Let it rest.

Step 2

Heat some oil. Pour a ladleful of batter into the oil, allowing it to spread into a circle.

Step 3

Deep-fry till both sides are golden brown.

Step 4

Drain excess oil, garnish with chopped nuts, and serve.
