If you are fasting on Mondays this Sawan, don’t confine yourself to just fruits and raw vegetables. Here is a quick upvas dosa recipe that you can make while fasting.
½ cup sabudana ½ cup Sama ke Chawal 1 cup dahi Water, as needed Rock salt (Sendha Namak) to taste Ghee for greasing
Rinse the sabudana in wate. Wash and soak the Sama ke Chawal for 2-3 hours.
Grind them together into a smooth batter. Add a little water to make it consistent.
Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl. Add the curd, rock salt, and mix well.
Heat and grease a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circle.
Cook the dosa on medium heat on both sides. Once crisp, enjoy it with your favourite chutney.
