During the Sawan season, many people across the country observe a fast on Mondays. For a fast-friendly and tasty recipe, you must try this special aam ki sabzi. Try this quick recipe and make your monsoon lunch or dinner foodilicious.
1 raw mango 1/2 cup jaggery 1 tablespoon oil 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 pinch asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste 1 cup water Coriander leaves for garnish
Peel and finely grate the raw mango.
Heat some oil and let mustard seeds and cumin seeds splutter.
Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
Mix in grated mango and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add jaggery, salt, and water.
Let the sabzi simmer on low heat till the mango softens. Garnish with coriander and serve.
