Sawan 2024: Try Sabudana Chilla For Instant Dose Of Energy While Fasting

Even when you are fasting, your body needs energy for which you have to eat something. This sabudana chilla recipe is for those days during Sawan when you need an instant boost of energy. 

Ingredients

1 boiled potato 1 cup sabudana 1 chopped green chilli 1.5 cups water 1/2 tsp ginger paste salt to taste oil for roasting 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tsp cumin powder 1/2 cup kuttu atta 6-8 curry leaves

Step 1

Take sabudana in a bowl, rinse it thoroughly, and let it soak for at least 6 hours.

Step 2

Blend sabudana with 1/2 a cup of water into a smooth paste.

Step 3

Combine this sabudana batter with boiled and grated potatoes, kuttu atta, green chillies, and spices.

Step 4

Add more water to the batter to adjust the consistency and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Spread a ladle full of this batter on a hot tawa and roast it.

Step 6

Serve the chilla hot with green chutney.
