Sawan, a holy month for Hindus, is a time for worshipping Lord Shiva and observing fasts. For a quick and delicious vrat-friendly dish, you can try making mashed potatoes to relish while fasting.
2-3 potatoes Sendha namak to taste Black pepper powder to taste 1 green chilli 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp lemon juice
Peel and boil the potatoes. Once cooled, mash them till you reach your desired consistency.
Add sendha namak, black pepper, and a pinch of cumin powder to taste.
Mix in a chopped green chilli and a squeeze of lemon.
Once well-combined, you can enjoy it as is or pair it with kuttu ki roti.
