Panchamrit, made with milk, curd, honey, ghee, and lots of dry fruits, is a holy drink offered to Hindu Gods and Goddesses on any auspicious day. With the beginning of Sawan from July 22, 2024, this quick recipe will help you make panchamrit in a jiffy.
2 cups milk 1 cup curd ½ cup honey ¼ cup Gangajal ⅛ cup ghee 1 cup dry fruits 2-3 Tulsi leaves
The best recipe for charnamrit or panchamrit includes reducing the quantity of the next ingredient by half.
In a large container, add milk and curd. Combine them into a smooth concoction.
Add honey, Gangajal or holy water offered to Gods in your home temple, and ghee.
Stir the ingredients well to form a mixture of soluble liquids.
Add foxnuts or makhana, cashews, almonds, raisins, and other dry fruits of your choice.
Let the panchamrit chill, before offering it to the Gods, and distributing it among family members.
