The holy month of Sawan is here and that means, a lot of people make changes to their diets and shift to a vegetarian one. It is also the most humid time of the year, so it is important to stay hydrated. Here are some drinks to help you do the same.
Coconut water is not only hydrating but also rich in electrolytes, making it an excellent choice to replenish fluids and minerals.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a glass of water and add a pinch of salt and sugar. This drink provides hydration and a refreshing citrus flavour.
Watermelon has high water content and is a delicious way to hydrate. Blend fresh watermelon chunks to make a refreshing juice.
Buttermilk, or chaas, is made by whisking curd with water and adding spices like roasted cumin powder, black salt, and mint leaves. It helps in digestion.
Brew herbal teas like hibiscus, mint, or green tea and let them cool. Add ice cubes and a dash of honey for a cooling drink.
Slice cucumbers and add them to a jug of water along with a few sprigs of fresh mint. This infused water is super refreshing.
Jaljeera is known for its digestive properties and can help cool down the body, making it a great option to stay refreshed during Sawan.
