Sabudana dosa is suitable for fasting days because it is both crispy and flavourful. The sabudana, sama rice, and spices that accompany its preparation make it a delectable feast.
½ cup sabudana ½ cup sama rice 1 potato, boiled Water ¼ cup curd 2 chillies, finely chopped 1 tsp chopped ginger 2 tbsp coriander, chopped 1 tsp cumin ½ tsp pepper, crushed 2 tbsp peanut, roasted & crushed 1 tsp salt
Dry roast ½ cup sabudana in a pan for 4-5 minutes until aromatic.
Cool and grind the sabudana and ½ cup sama rice to a fine powder.
Grind 1 boiled potato with water to a smooth paste and transfer to the bowl.
Add ¼ cup curd, 2 chopped chillies, 1 tsp chopped ginger, and 2 tbsp chopped coriander.
Mix 1 tsp cumin, ½ tsp crushed pepper, 2 tbsp crushed peanut, and 1 tsp salt.
Add 2 cups water, mix to a lump-free batter, and let rest for 20 minutes.
Pour batter on a hot pan, spread 1 tsp ghee, roast for 2-3 minutes until crisp, and serve with chutney.
