Sattu Ka Sharbat, A Bihari Summer Cooler

Sattu, which is basically flour made with roasted channa is full with fibre and protein. When you want something cold and sweet to beat the summer heat, Sattu sharbat is ideal. Protein, fibre, calcium, iron, manganese, and magnesium are all said to be abundant in sattu.

Ingredients

1 litre water 6 tablespoon black gram flour ( sattu) 6 teaspoon powdered jaggery 3 Pinches black salt

Step 1

This super easy yet heathy drink is prepared in less than 10 minutes. Take a glass and add water in it. Now take the sattu powder and add 2 tablespoons of sattu in it. Mix the powder and water well.

Step 2

Now take some jaggery and break them into smaller chunks or a powder like consistency.

Step 3

Add the jaggery powder into the drink and stir well. Avoid all the lumps and mix it well.

Step 4

For extra taste just add a pinch of black salt to glass and give a final stir. Your drink is ready!
