Sattu drink is a nutritious beverage made from roasted chana flour. It's cooling in nature and beneficial for gut health. With a low glycaemic index, it's ideal for diabetics and loved by both kids and adults.

Ingredients

1.5 litres chilled water or water at room temperature 6 tbsp sattu (roasted black chickpea flour) 4 to 6 tbsp regular sugar or organic unrefined cane sugar or jaggery (as per taste) ¼ tsp black salt or 2 to 3 pinches of black salt (optional)

Step 1

Take chilled water in individual glasses or a mug.

Step 2

Add 2 tbsp sattu to each glass.

Step 3

Add sugar or jaggery as per taste. Add a pinch of black salt to each glass.

Stir and mix everything very well. Serve immediately or chill and serve later, stirring before serving.
