If you love both pizza and samosas, the Pizza Samosa is the perfect fusion snack for you. This delightful treat combines the crispy texture of traditional Indian samosas with the savoury flavours of a classic pizza. Make this dish which will be surely loved by both kids and adults:
2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds Salt to taste 2 tablespoons oil Water as needed 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced 1/2 cup onions, finely chopped 1/2 cup tomatoes, deseeded and diced 1/2 cup sweet corn 1/4 cup black olives, sliced 1/4 cup pizza sauce 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Oil for deep frying
In a large bowl, mix flour, carom seeds, and salt. Add oil and rub it into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
In a bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, sweet corn, black olives, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin oval shape and cut it into two halves. Form a cone with each half, fill with the pizza mixture, and seal the edges with water.
Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the samosas on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
