Samosa kadhi is a fusion dish that brings together two popular Indian delicacies. Samosa, a deep-fried savoury snack is dipped into the tangy yoghurt-based curry for a delectable blend of flavours and textures.
4-5 samosas 1 cup yoghurt 2 tbsp besan 4 cups water 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/4 tsp asafoetida 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds 2-3 dried red chillies 8-10 curry leaves 1 tbsp oil or ghee Fresh coriander leaves
Blend yoghurt, red chilli powder, besan, turmeric, salt, and water until a smooth consistency is achieved.
When the oil or ghee is heated, add the red chillies, curry leaves, mustard, cumin, and asafoetida seeds and sauté.
Once the yoghurt mixture is in the pan, boil it for 20 to 25 minutes, and then let it simmer.
Cook for five minutes after adding four or five warmed samosas to the kadhi. Before serving hot, garnish with coriander leaves.
