Want to make something new and royal with every basic ingredient at home? Try out this saffron sooji halwa, which can be made in 15 minutes, and it's the perfect festive season serving.
1 cup semolina (sooji) 1-litre milk 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder A few strands of saffron 1/4 cup chopped pistachios or almonds Ghee for greasing
Dry roast sooji and heat some milk over medium heat. Mix both slowly.
Stir in sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands.
Garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds before serving.
