Sabudana kheer is nutritious and delicious. Therefore, it is often prepared around Navratri and consumed by people, especially those who are fasting. Try out this step-by-step recipe to make this sweet delight at home.

Ingredients

1 cup water ¼ cup tapioca pearls 1 cup milk Sugar as needed 1 tbsp chopped nuts and dry fruits

Step 1

Rinse tapioca pearls and soak them for a few hours.

Step 2

Heat milk in a pan. Meanwhile, cook sabudana in water until it turns transparent.

Step 3

Add sugar and cooked sabudana to milk and let the ingredients simmer. 

Step 4

Keep the flame medium and cook until the porridge thickens.

Step 5

Turn off the flame and let the kheer sit for a while.

Step 6

Top it with crushed nuts and dry fruits. You can top it with saffron and refrigerate it. Serve it cold.
