Bathua saag is popularly eaten as a daily staple in regional parts of India. The saag is seasonal and is mostly in the market in the winter. Learn to make bathua saag with garlic goodness and a kick of spice. Try this recipe and add this to your daily diet.

2 cups fresh bathua leaves 1 cup spinach leaves 1 onion 2 tomatoes 2 green chillies 1-inch piece of ginger 3-4 garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 2 tablespoons mustard oil or ghee

Firstly, you need to heat mustard oil or ghee in a pan, then add cumin seeds, chopped onions, grated ginger, minced garlic, and green chillies.

After sauteing, add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.

Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and salt.

Following that, add bathua and spinach leaves to the pan and mix everything.
