Roasted Moong Dal is a light, crunchy and healthy snack that you can eat anytime. It is high in protein and low in calories, which is a perfect guilt-free snack that will satisfy your cravings. This homemade version is super easy to make and you can customise the flavours as per your taste. Here is how to make this healthy snack at home.
1 cup split yellow moong dal Salt to taste ¼ tsp black pepper powder ½ tsp chaat masala ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp oil
Rinse the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 1 hour. Drain well and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Combine the dried dal with oil, salt, black pepper, turmeric and chaat masala. Toss well to coat evenly.
Spread the moong dal in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stir in between, until crispy and golden.
Let it cool completely, then store it in an airtight container.
