Summer is here, and social media is flooded with rice kanji recipes. The same old videos are going viral again and are enough to convince you to make this dish at home. This South Indian breakfast is known for its probiotics that promote gut flora.
1 cup cooked rice 1.3 cups water 2 tbsp curd 1 sliced onion 1 chopped green chilli 1 tsp oil 4-5 curry leaves ½ tsp mustard seeds Salt to taste 1 tbsp coriander
Take an earthen pot and soak cooked rice in water overnight.
Peel off the skin of an onion and slice it.
Finely chop coriander leaves and green chilli.
Add curd, chopped chilli, and coriander leaves to the rice.
Prepare a tempering of oil, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
Pour the tempering over the rice, and the rice kanji is ready.
