A vegan papaya smoothie mixes the tropical flavours of papaya with plant-based components to create a revitalising and wholesome beverage.
1 ripe chopped papaya 1 ripe banana 1 cup almond milk 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup ice cubes
Blend the papaya, banana, almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a blender.
When it’s smooth and creamy add ice cubes to the blender and continue blending until the smoothie is chilled.
Is desired add more maple syrup, or ice cubes. Pour the vegan papaya smoothie into glasses.
Garnish with sprinkle of chia seeds and shredded coconut, serve immediately.
