Replace Unhealthy Snacking With This Dry Fruit Trail Mix

Loaded with good fats and minerals, this nutritious trail mix is the perfect mixture of salty, sweet and crunchy – giving unhealthy fried foods like chips a run for its money.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup walnuts 1 cup almonds, soaked ½ cup cashews 1 cup pretzels ½ cup brown raisins ½ cup dates ¼ cup dried apricots ¼ cup pumpkin seeds ¼ cup sunflower seeds

METHOD

Toast the nuts and seeds separately in a dry pan, until lightly browned and aromatic.

METHOD

Cool completely and crush lightly in a food processor, if needed.

METHOD

Mix along with the remaining ingredients and store in air-tight jars to snack on from time-to-time.
